Mac software updates for May 21

Elgato Systems has released Turbo.264 version 1.3, a free update for its video encoder in USB stick format. The update includes many new features for YouTube users as well as owners of Apple devices such as video-enabled iPods, the iPhone, and Apple TV.
Elgato Turbo.264 now enables YouTube users to convert video to a YouTube-friendly format and upload the encoded clips automatically. Navigating within Turbo.264-encoded movies is now easier for users of Apple devices due to Turbo.264’s support for DVD chapter markers. The new software also preserves Dolby Digital audio for playback on surround sound speakers connected to Apple TV. What’s more, this update to Turbo.264 version 1.3 supports QuickTime Broadcaster.
Obvious Matter has updated DiskLibrary, a media cataloging application for Mac OS X, to version 1.8. The upgrade adds DiskCatalogMaker X import, the ability to create thumbnails for HTML/Flash files, the ability to show/hide the info panel and more.
ActionSoft has released Midnight Mansion 1.1.3, a free update to its popular action/exploration game. The upgraded: adds drag and drop support for mansion files; adds a command-arrow keyboard navigation of rooms to the editor; and adds the game’s version number to title screen.
ActiveState has released of ActivePerl 5.10.0.1003. It includes core Perl, popular modules, the Perl Package Manager (PPM), and documentation.
Brainjuice has released Blogo 1.1, the latest version of its weblog editor for Mac OS X. The upgrade adds new features in addition to fixes for many outstanding issues.
IGG Software released iBank 3.1, a new version of its financial management application for Mac OS X 10.5 (“Leopard”). The upgrade adds the ability to preview direct downloads for matching transactions. Also, iBank’s internal browser, which allows users to log in to online accounts without leaving the application, has been enhanced with improved page loading and more banks’ websites available to users.
CopyPaste Pro, the multiple clipboard editor/archival utility, has been updated to version 1.0.2. Among other features and bug fixes, the update adds a contextual menu command for the clip history to revert the order of the clips in the History and the Clips in the Clip Archive provide a “lock clip” command to prevent a clip from being deleted or replaced.
The Camino web browser has been updated to version 1.6.1. It’s a maintenance update with some performance tweaks and bug fixes.
