Mac software updates for May 12

Barton Springs Software has released Photonic1.1, an update of the Mac OS X Flickr application. The upgrade brings an enhanced caching engine and better file system support.
CoverSutra, an iTunes extender for Mac OS X has been updated to version 2.1. The upgrade adds new notification bezels that enable users to get information about their currently playing songs and albums. The new version also features improved artwork and enhanced display of Internet radio details.
Syncro Soft has updated oXygen, ts XML Editor, Schema Editor and XSLT/XQuery Debugger, to version 9.2. The upgrade introduces a new Author edition specially tuned for content authors; it has an interface for XML editing that keeps only the relevant authoring features.
TweakerSoft has released VectorDesigner 1.2.0, with video tutorials and smart snap on elements, points and intersections. VectorDesigner is an application for vector drawings, diagrams and illustrations, raster image handling, filtering and color correction.
The Pixelmator Team has released Pixelmator 1.2 Draftsman, a second t update to the GPU-powered image editing tool. The upgrade features rulers, guides, grid, snap, color balance, auto enhance, curves, polygonal lasso tools and more.
Apimac has released a new version of Clean Text, a tool dedicated to webmasters, graphic designers and magazine editors to reduce text cleanup time. The upgrade primarily adds support for multiple windows and important code optimizations.
Second Gear has updated Today,a Mac OS X application for managing iCal events and tasks, to version 1.1. Users can now filter what calendars are visible in Today. Several changes have been made to event and task creation. By default new events are created on the date selected in Today. What’s more, users can also assign a location to new events.
Flying Meat has released Acorn 1.2, an update layer-based bitmap image editor. It has some new functionality, as well as some bug fixes.
Reinvented Software has updated Together, a file organization application for storing, previewing, editing and searching all kinds of files, to version 2.1. The upgrade introduces new features such as .Mac syncing, Favorites and Quick Look previews for its Shelf, saving web pages as PDFs and AppleScript support, plus improvements for Smart Groups, tagging, Spotlight integration, importing and a more customizable user interface.
