Mac software updates for June 16

XChange International has released Sonar Bookends QkLink for QuarkXPress 7.x. QkLink allows users to define PDF bookmarks and hyperlinks directly within QuarkXPress so they’re automatically generated when the PDF’d version of the document is created.
Invers Software has updated iCalamus, publishing software for Mac OS X, to version 1.1.3. Among the improvements and bug fixes, the upgrade can now import iPhoto documents as calendars, as well as printing Photographerbook documents externally.
The TuneConnect Project has released TuneConnect 2.1, an update of the open source iTunes remote control software for Mac OS X. The upgrade fixes some of the bugs that cropped up in the initial 2.0 release, and adds support for some user-requested features.
Mesa Dynamics has released a public beta version of Amnesty Hypecube. With it you canm ove web widgets, flash games and video out of your browser and onto your desktop. Then drag and drop them between your personal web widget library and collections, widget platforms such as Apple’s Dashboard and your favorite social networks, including MySpace and Facebook.
Braid Art Labs has updated GroBoto, the Mac OS X compatible software for creating in three dimensions, to version 2.3. The update offers a preview of the upcoming version 3.0.
Pubblog.com has updated MailSteward and Mail Steward Pro, the Mac OS X email archiving solutions, to version 8.0.4.The email date and time is now adjusted to the local system time zone. Plus, there are some bug fixes.
Helium Foot Software has released MercuryMover 1.1.4, an update of the keyboard controlled, window moving and resizing utility for Mac OS X. The update fixes a bug that caused MercuryMover to misunderstand where the bottom of the primary display was when the dock was positioned at the bottom of the screen.
Excel Software has updated QuickHelp—a tool for creating, maintaining and deploying application help—to 3.0.2. The Guides button on the General panel now presents a small window listing all documents stored in the Documents and Guides folder within the QuickHelp application folder. To view a document, click on its name. The Documents and Guides window is closed and the document is opened for viewing. Also, the User Guide PDF is now included with the software installation.
