Mac software updates for July 16

TeamViewer, a provider of solutions for online communication and collaboration, is offering the full version of their remote control solution, free of charge for non-commercial use. The complete list of TeamViewer features and functions, including file transfer and cross-platform support, are now available to facilitate information sharing in a non-business environment.
Xnet Communications has released a new version (2.3) of iSoftPhone, telephony software specifically designed for the Mac. It’s an Internet phone for Mac OS X that offers one-step configuration that lets you talk to other iSoftPhone users. With version 2.3, if your SIP server or SIP provider supports SMS you may now chat with mobile phones users by sending and receiving SMS directly to/from iSoftPhone. Conversations with mobile phone users appear as a discussion thread.
Rogue Amoeba has released Nicecast 1.9.3 , an update of the app for running your own Internet radio station. The upgrade includes Instant Hijack 2.1, along with an update to the LAME encoder used to create MP3 streams, improvements to Effects play through, and several small bug fixes.
Snarb.tk has updated Cover Stream, an iTunes controller that gives you access to iTunes Cover Flow right from your desktop without switching applications, to version 2.2.1. The upgrade fixes a bug where an erroneous alert was displayed on startup on some systems and fixes a bug where Desktop Artwork wasn’t always dismissed when pressing the Stop hot key.
Monkey Tools has updated Sound Grinder, an audio batch conversion tool, to version 3.2.6. It now includes a new workflow option called Droplets, which provides a simpler way of converting audio files. You can choose your conversion settings, and save the Droplet to any location.
Rogue Amoeba has released Airfoil 3.2.1, an update of the AirPort Express extender for Mac OS X. The upgrade some minor fixes for Airfoil Speakers, as well as an update to the Instant Hijack component, now at version 2.1, to fully support 64-bit machines.
Primate Labs has released Geekbench 2.0.18, an update to their cross-platform processor and memory benchmark. It’s a maintenance update with some performance tweaks and bug fixes.
Objective Development has released Sharity 3.5, an update of the SMB file system for Unix. This release fixes a security problem.
