In a company newsletter Mac clone maker Psystar says it’s ready to leave Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, for which is filed in May. And, of course, the legal battle between it and Apple rages on.
In the newsletter, Psystar had this to say: “As you all may already be aware in late May, Psystar filed for Chapter 11 protection. Although this was critical to our continued daily operations, we now are ready to emerge and again battle Goliath.
More information will be available in the coming days when we will be formally discharged by the Bankruptcy court. When life gives you apples, make applesauce.”
If it’s up to Apple, Psystar will end up making applesauce, not Mac clones. Apple says the cloner is violating all kinds of rules in doing so. But Psystar just keeps on. It introduced yet another Mac clone yesterday, the Open(7).
