Lectora 9 lets you publish to iPhone, iPod touch

image Trivantis Corp., a company that makes publishing software, has announced Lectora 9, which now lets users publish to the iPhone and iPod touch.

Courses can now be published to the Apple devices so mobile workers can learn on the go. Other new enhancements in Lector 9 include:

° Flash and games library with animated male and females characters; foot race, jigsaw puzzle, matching pairs and tic tac toe games; and various components such as photo viewers, card flips and arrow highlights;

° Chart Creator: users can now create editable chart images directly in Lectora using standard spreadsheets.

° Improving of the the appearance and performance of video incorporated into training courses developed in Lectora.

Lectora 9 is scheduled for release Dec. 5. All Lectora new features and performance improvements are available to customers who have current maintenance licenses. It will be available as a download at the Trivantis web site; the company offers free 14-day trials of Lectora that can be accessed at their web site.
