Jobs’ health is fine—or not

imageAs noted by Silicon Valley Insider, there are conflicting reports on the health of Apple CEO Steve Jobs.

A “solid” Gizmodo source says Jobs’ health, not politics, is the reason why Jobs isn’t doing the keynote at next week’s Macworld Conference & Expo (Phil Schiller, Apple’s vice president of worldwide product marketing is doing the honors).

However, CNBC’s Jim Goldman is reporting that this isn’t the case, at all. He says the same source who told him two weeks ago that Jobs was fine now says nothing has changed. Goldman says Jobs is not delivering his keynote next week because Apple no longer wants to invest in that particular conference—which is Apple’s official explanation. However, the company has made no comments on the recent bout of speculation over Jobs’ health.
