Starting today (Dec. 12) a new sweepstakes from iTunes Japan is available to Japanese customers. Ten Japanese iTunes Store account holders will win a 100-song credit worth 19,000 yen each).
Account holders just need to enter their data on a special online form on the Apple web site. On Jan. 8, 2008 the winners will be drawn. They will receive the special code no later than Jan. 11 by email. It seems no other countries will have this sweepstakes.
It sounds like what Apple did in September with Starbucks stores, allowing users to use an iPhone or iPod touch to surf the iTunes Wi-Fi Music Store and buy music. You can read more here. (setteB.IT is an Italian language web site for Mac users and one of Macsimum News’ partners.)
