imageDatamind has released Jade 1.0, a Mac OS X app for improving your digital images. Designed for Mac OS X 10.5 (“Leopard”), it uses algorithms to enhance image colors, contrast and dynamics, while preserving the overall quality of your images, according to the folks at Datamind.

If you’re not happy with the automatic results of Jade, you can adjust the algorithms’ output with fine-tuning controls such as intensity value. The software also offers noise removal, deblurring of images, image grouping and intelligent indexing.

Jade is Universal Binary so runs natively on both PowerPC and Intel Macs. It’s currently being offered for US$99.99 (the normal price is $199.99).

The “Macsimum MWSF 2007 Coupon Book” is available for download. You can find it here and print it as a PDF. It has discounts, special offers and promotions.
