eCamm has updated iPhoneDrive, a US$9.95 utility that lets you use your iPhone for file storage, to version 1.4. This free update adds support for camera photo access and the ability to play music stored on an iPhone or iPod touch.

With iPhoneDrive’s Mac OS X interface you can transfer files between your Mac and your iPhone. You can drag and drop files between the iPhoneDrive window and your desktop, or use the iPhoneDrive toolbar. Storing files on your iPhone enables you to use your iPhone to backup data or transfer between Macs.

iPhoneDrive doesn’t provide access to your iPhone music and photos. This data is managed via iTunes sync. The app is Universal Binary so runs natively on both PowerPC and Intel Macs. It works with Mac OS X 10.4.10 or later and iTunes 7.3 or higher. A demo is available for download.
