eCamm has released iPhoneDrive, a US$9.95 utility that lets you use your iPhone for file storage. You can’t view or access the files via the communications device; the iPhone is only for file storage.
With its Mac OS X interface you can transfer files between your Mac and your iPhone. You can drag and drop files between the iPhoneDrive window and your desktop, or use the iPhoneDrive toolbar. Storing files on your iPhone enables you to use your iPhone to backup data or transfer between Macs.
iPhoneDrive does not provide access to your iPhone music and photos. This data is managed via iTunes sync.
iPhoneDrive is Universal Binary so runs natively on both PowerPC and Intel Macs. It works with Mac OS X 10.4.10 or later and iTunes 7.3 or higher. A demo is available for download.
