Here are the latest iPhone/iPod touch/iPod apps announced. You can find ‘em at the Apple App Store.
Chaotic Box has released Pollywog 1.0, an US$1.99 dodge’m/racing game for the iPhone and iPod touch. You guide Pauly the Purple Pollywog on a quest for floating yum yums, and dodge obstacles at super speeds, collect time-bending powerups, and blast your way past the finish line to earn awards and unlock new levels.
Hyperdevbox Japan has announced LoveCatch 1.0, a $1.99 puzzle/action game for iPhone and iPod touch users. You incarnate AI-KUN, a “Love Angel” who has the mission of spreading love by collecting flying hearts before they crash on the ground. The game uses a combination of smart gesture recognition and action touch.
Space Lama has released PetSnap, a $1.99 photography app designed for all pet lovers. It’s designed for capturing pet photos.
Paramount Digital Entertainment has released Mean Girls: High School Showdown, a $0.99 game for the iPhone and iPod touch. Inspired by the Mean Girls film, in Mean Girls: High School Showdown, players take on the role of a new student who must decide if naughty or nice will run North Shore High by fighting opposing high school cliques in strategic Match 3 battles.
Simulations Plus, a provider of simulation and modeling software for pharmaceutical discovery and development, has launched a $2.99 product for the iPhone based on its Abbreviate! software for personal computers. It has been used by people in all walks of life, but has seen especially strong usage by medical transcriptionists, legal secretaries, and others who make their living by typing.
Nonlinear Educating has released N.E.D.i 2.1, an update of the free app for the iPhone and iPod touch. N.E.D.i allows you to sync tutorial-videos from the company’s desktop tutorial-video player called N.E.D. (Nonlinear Educating Device) to your iPhone or iPod touch for true “education on the go.” This new version of N.E.D.i introduces tutorial downloading directly to your Apple device.
Broken Thumbs Apps has announced Santa’s Run 1.1, a $0.99, casual holiday game for the iPhone and iPod touch. This update includes a festive Christmas countdown, multiple gameplay enhancements and other additional features. In the game, players help Santa deliver presents to houses across the globe.
