iPhone 3G S models already selling out

The iPhone 3G S may be a tough handset to nab on launch day, as Apple and AT&T have already sold out of their launch day pre-order units, reports InformationWeek. It officially goes on sale Friday, June 19.
Apple and AT&T didn’t reveal how many pre-order iPhone 3G S handsets were sold. Some industry watchers think the companies will have a hard time matching the iPhone 3G’s launch, which sold over a million units in three days, according to InformationWeek. However, the Sellers Research Firm is predicting that the new iPhone will beat that record, though just barely.
