As of mid-afternoon on Friday, a ten-person line has been spotted by Gear Diary along the marble border above ground that surrounds the Apple’s Fifth Avenue retail store, reports AppleInsider. The lineup is acknowledged by both store security and Apple employees.
The fact that you have to activate the new iPhones before you leave the store, may be one reason why people are getting in line early. The line won’t be moving as fast as last year. It’s estimated that it will take a minimum of 10 minutes per person for activation.
