Silicon Valley’s Wingspan has announced iLoad +, an add-on for the company’s upcoming iLoad product that transfers audio and video content from your cable or satellite box directly to an iPod or USB drive without using a computer or requiring an Internet connection.

With iLoad, you’re not limited to content that is only available at the iTunes Music Store. The iLoad + device connects with your satellite TV box or cable TV box. Any content that is available to the subscriber can be scheduled for recording and played back on the iPod or a TV.

Wingspan’s iLoad device can copy CDs to an iPod without using a computer or requiring an Internet connection, as well. All album and track information is transferred. The iLoad + device is an add-on accessory that plugs directly into the iLoad USB port. Also, Wingspan says it’s planning to make additional music and video content available to their users via private cable and satellite channels.

The iLoad and iLoad + will be available this November with a suggested retail price of US$249 and $100, respectively.
