IGG Software has updated its iBank financial manager for Mac OS X to version 2.5, which beefs up the import speed of downloaded bank transactions. There are also improvements to the smart accounts feature, and the ability to manage money market accounts.
You can use iBank to track finances. It has “Smart Accounts,” which let you track transactions for a given category, amount or date. Smart Import Rules let you create rule for imported transactions. You can import OFX, QFX, QIF and CSV data and manage import attributes on a per-account level.
iBank costs US$49.95, though the 2.5 update is free to registered users of version 2.0. It’s Universal Binary so runs natively on both PowerPC and Intel Macs.
