Graham K. Rogers, who writes a Mac column for the Bangkok Post, gave Macsimum News a heads-up about an unheralded feature on the iPod touch. It’s known that a new feature on the iPhone is the ability to take screen shots, but this feature is also available on the iPod touch and works in the same way.
Hold down the Home button and press the on/off button at the top. The screen will flash. Rogers says the image taken is in a new folder in Photos: Saved Photos.
Once the image is onscreen, it can be put in the trash (icon on the right) or used by pressing the Send icon on the left. There are five options: use as wallpaper; email photo; assign to contact; send to Mobile Me; and cancel.
