imageGoing on a trip to a foreign country and need a little help with language translation? Well, don’t forget to take your iPhone/iPod touch along. You can now access Google’s translation service (Google Translate) on an iPhone/iPod touch.

To access Google Translate, go to http://google.com on your iPhone/iPod touch, click on ‘More’ in the menu and then on ‘Translate’. Simply type in a word or phrase, select the language you wish to translate it to and hit ‘Translate’. It deciphers both single words and entire phrases from 24 different languages including Chinese, French, Japanese and, er, Finnish.
