G-Technology (G-Tech) has announced the addition of new triple interface models (FireWire 400, FireWire 800 and USB 2.0) to its line of G-DRIVE mini portable hard drives. The systems feature 5400 or 7200 RPM SATA disk drives.

The G-DRIVE mini Triple features storage capacities up to 250GB and an all-aluminum enclosure with a built-in heat sink. Designed to be portable, the drive weighs less than nine ounces. It comes with all necessary cables and a protective leather carrying case

The G-DRIVE mini Triple is bus powered, so no AC adapter is required. It’s Mac OS X and Windows XP compatible and is ready for the Time Machine feature in Mac OS X 10.5 (“Leopard”). The G-DRIVE mini Triple is available now with prices starting at US$179.
