fring, a VoIP application, is now available for all iPhone and iPod touch owners, enabling them to talk, chat and interact with other fring users (“fringsters”) and all of their online communities (Skype, MSN® Google Talk, ICQ, Twitter, Yahoo! & AIM) using their device’s Internet connection.
During log-in, fring automatically creates a single, integrated contact list, combining individuals from all of the users’ selected internet communities and regular mobile address books. The result is a dynamic list that uses fring’s always-connected ability to continually update contact availability info, displaying in real-time whether friends are online, away, offline, free or already in a call or an IM chat.
The iPhone/iPod touch version sports a new Add-on menu for iPhone, displaying all of your favorite online communities. It’s free to download and free to use without any subscription fees. You can access it here at Apple’s App Store. Enjoy!
