With the exploding popularity of Twitter, Macsimum News has decided to join the party. We see it as an opportunity to keep our readers better informed by “pushing” important Apple-related news and support information to them, so they don’t have to spend time searching for it. Think of it as an “instant” or “mini” Macsimum MacOSG Newsletter, if you will. Below is a list of the type of “tweets” or “alerts” we plan on sending out.
Besides Apple-related news, we will also be covering Apple support-related information.
• Important Apple news as it’s released or happens. Example: Apple releases new hardware.
• New Apple Software updates as they are releases. Example: Apple just releases an iPhoto update.
• New Apple firmware updates as they are releases. Example: Apple just releases an iMac firmware update.
• Important “Apple Technical Articles” released. Example: Apple just releases a new bulletin on a MacBook issue.
• New Apple OS updates as they are releases. Example: Apple just releases an OS X update.
• New Apple Security updates as they are releases. Example: Apple just releases a system security update.
Anyway, you get the picture; we want to keep our readers informed!
