Never miss the excitement of college football again with iLove College Football 2008 by Fandora’s Box for Apple’s iPhone and iPod Touch. Stay on top of all of the college football action with this free application from Marvel Apps, LLC which provides rankings, standings, news, Top 25 game previews and recaps, schedules, Heisman watch, weekly reports on all D-I teams, and most importantly, LIVE scores on game day. It is available today in Apple’s App Store.
“This application is what college football fans need to stay connected with the sport they love.” said Bill Leisenring, President of Marvel Apps, LLC. Leisenring also stated, “We have listened to the feedback from our Fantasy Football ‘08 app and eliminated the need for registration and also improved the navigation. It is important to the Marvel Apps team that we constantly listen to the customers and deliver a product that they will love to use.”
In addition to this application, the Fandora’s Box franchise consists of the currently available Fandora’s Box 2008 Summer Games, Fantasy Football ‘08 by Fandora’s Box which has an update planned for late October that takes that app to new heights, and a website of the same name, fandorasbox.com. The site is the place for fans to go inside to get news, forums, and other information about their favorite players and teams.
Make your personal Fandora’s Box and keep track of ‘My Players’ and ‘My Teams’ in one easy to navigate site. The site is in final development but can be used today during the public beta. Finally, the company also offers the Fantasy Football Advisor which provides live scoring and stats alerts for pro football for fantasy football enthusiasts via SMS along with a weekly newsletter.
Fandora’s Box is a take off on the greek myth of Pandora. The myth states: “Only Hope was left within her unbreakable house, she remained under the lip of the jar, and did not fly away before Pandora replaced the lid of the jar.” Hope is the fuel of sports fans everywhere and it resides inside Fandora’s Box.
