FastTrack Schedule ready for Mactels, MindManager

AEC Software has released FastTrack Schedule 9.1, an update of the project management (PM) software for both the Mac and Windows environments. It’s a Universal Binary update so runs natively on both PowerPC and Intel Macs. It also support for integration with Mindjet MindManager, a brainstorming application that leverages visualization and organization features to enable teams to more effectively think, plan, and collaborate, Dennis Bilowus, CEO and president of AEC, told Macsimum News

The Mindjet MindManager product line enables users to visually connect and synthesize ideas and information. The partnership with Mindjet adds functionality that further extends the power of each company’s applications, Bilowus adds. With a few clicks, FastTrack Schedule 9.1 can import data from Mindjet MindManager files, transforming visual information into editable FastTrack schedules.
 

image“The combination of the two tools can shepherd teams from idea generation straight through resource planning, ongoing management and tracking, and finally to project realization,” Bilowus says. “It’s a powerful way to promote organizational creativity and individual accountability simultaneously.”

FastTrack Schedule 9.1 also includes enhancements for cross-platform image compatibility, so users can plan projects, present plans with colorful timelines, track performance and share project information. It’s a free update for users of FastTrack Schedule 9. Trial versions of FastTrack Schedule 9.1 are available at the AEC web site. For new users, FastTrack Schedule 9.1 is available for an estimated retail price of US$349. Upgrades from previous versions (8.x, 7.x, etc.) of FastTrack Schedule start at $149.
