eX-cinder, the company behind Morph Age and Magnet, creative apps for for Mac OS X, has changed its name to Creaceed.

The company was started in 2002, “as an initiative to provide original and creative softwares for Mac.” To express the fact that additional efforts are being brought in this year, and also as a way to better target its audience, it’s changing its name, says company reps.

Morph Age is a tool for creating advanced morphing and warping transitions and rendering that as QuickTime movies. Magnet enables the use of custom special effects that stick to moving objects in QuickTime movies.

What’s more, Creaceed is participating in the “Give">http://www.givegoodfoodtoyourmac.com">“Give Good Food to your Mac” event, scheduled for next week. For about 10 days, Mac users around the world will be able to download and “taste” more than 25 Mac applications and enjoy discounts ranging from 30 to 70 percent.
