imageSL Corp., which makes real-time monitoring, analytics, and visualization software, has announced the availability of Enterprise RTView version 4.9. Even more importantly, SL has also certified Enterprise RTView for use on the Mac.

“Now that Apple has moved to Intel CPUs, many developers who need to support diverse target platforms are choosing Macs,” says Rodney Morrison of SL Corp. “With this environment, they can easily run UNIX and Windows applications at the same time on a modern industry-standard laptop. We are happy to be able to support Macintosh developers with this release.”

This latest release allows for higher-performance computing and analytics through the definition of a data cache for storing real-time data. This cache is specifically designed to perform high-speed analytic processing of real-time data, and to be able to compare current real-time values against historical values. The output can then be made available through dashboards, or as an input to rules that can activate alerts or automated commands. More details and pricing options can be found here.
