imageElectronic Arts has released an add-on to its Spore game: the US19.95 Creepy & Cute Parts Pack, which features 60 new parts and 48 new paint styles for creature creation, as well as 24 new test drive animations and two new backgrounds.

The new body parts can be used from the Creature phase onwards, and the resulting creatures can be uploaded to Sporepedia and shared with other players who have the C&C pack installed. Spore C&C can be installed onto either the Creature Creator Complete or the Spore full game.

In Spore, you can create and evolve life, establish tribes, build civilizations, sculpt entire worlds and explore a universe created by other gamers. Spore gives players tools to customize nearly every aspect of their universe: creatures, vehicles, buildings, and even UFOs. Players can hare their creations with the world or explore new galaxies created by other people.

Spore is available in two versions. There’s an US$49.99 standard release and a $79.99 “Galactic Edition” that includes a “Making of Spore” DVD, a National Geographic documentary DVD, “The Art of Spore” hardback book, a Spore poster and a “Galactic Handbook.”
