DXG USA has announced the DXG-569V HD High-Definition camcorder with a vertical design and slim form factor. It’s available immediately at Radio Shack and other stores for US$169 in glossy black and silver.
The DXG-569V HD camcorder purportedly records real HD video up to 1280×720 at 30 fps (frames per second). It also sports a five-megapixel CMOS sensor for still images, a three-inch TFT screen and a digital voice recorder. It connects to a computer so you can copy and back-up documents, music files, pictures, and videos to the camcorder’s SD Card.
Home videos can be shared by connecting the DXG-569V HD to a TV. You can view videos in 4:3 or 16:9 (panoramic) aspect ratios. You can also connect the DXG-569V HD to your computer and upload videos.
