The Dream Apps has released Dream Capture 2.2, an update to their video recording utility for Mac OS X. The upgrade includes a variety of enhancements and bug fixes.
Designed for uploading to online video sharing web sites or DVD, Dream Capture allows recording of video or audio tracks. It supports most cameras on the market, but is optimized for Apple’s built-in and external iSight cameras. Dream Capture captures video that’s encoded in the H.264 codec. The app also features an automatic image stabilizing platform using the same incredible technology as Apple’s Shake.
Dream Capture is Universal Binary so runs natively on both PowerPC and Intel Macs. It requires Mac OS X 10.4 or higher. Dream Capture 2.2 costs US$9.95; a demo is available for download.
