Denver FCPUG to meet Nov. 19

imageThe Denver FCPUG meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 19, at The Colorado Film School. The mixer starts at 6 p.m., and the presentations will begin at 6:30 p.m.

Philip Hodgetts will be in town do demo Assisted Editing Tools First Cuts and Finisher. First Cuts takes the log notes from a long form documentary edit and automatically builds first cuts. Finisher takes an A-roll cut and adds B-roll and lower thirds. More details are available here. Hodgetts will provide one license for First Cuts (which includes Finisher) at retail value of US$295 and one copy of Finisher (retail $149) for raffling at the meeting.

Jared Picune will present the latest in RAID storage technology from CalDigit. CalDigit’s current product line includes the HDPro, HDone, CalDigit RAID Card, HDElement, and CalDigit VR.
