imagePhotoshop guru David Biedny will teach a “Photoshop-Master Class” session at the Mac Support Store, an Apple Authorized Help Desk Specialist, Reseller, and Service provider in New York City. The session is free and will be held on Saturday, Feb. 28.

Biedny was a founding editor of the original MacUser magazine, and is currently a contributing editor for MacLife magazine. He created digital special effects at Industrial Light & Magic for motion pictures including Terminator 2: Judgement Day, Memoirs of an Invisible Man, Star Trek 6: The Undiscovered Country, The Rockteer and Hook.

Bideny’s former company, IDIG, broke records in 1997 for creating 35 digital effects shots in 35 days for the movie Spawn. He has taught at the School of Visual Arts, NYU, Stanford University, San Francisco State University, and many others, and is currently a lecturer at Yale University.

His two-hour lecture at the Mac Support Store will take a close look at maximizing Photoshop as the primary tool in the process of post-production of photographic images. It’s designed to help attendees gain a clear understanding of the deeper aspects of using Photoshop to make your pictures stand out from the herd. Class size is limited, so you should register ASAP.
