setteB.IT has just published the most important data from Apple FY 2007 filing issued few hours ago. Here is what we noted:
1) Apple dropped “Apple Operations International” and “Apple Operations Europe” from the list of subsidiaries and changed the name from “Apple Computer International” to “Apple Sales International.”
2) From the list of the major common stock shareholder Steve Jobs is now ranked #2 with over 5.5 million shares (in FY06 the second one was mutual fund AllianceBernstein, now no more listed). Phil Schiller, vice president of Worldwide Marketing, isn’t listed any more listed. Fidelity Investments is always first Apple shareholder with nearly 6.5 percent of the shares
3) From the list of suppliers there are are three new entries: Infineon, Murata Manufacturing and National Semiconductor
4) Apple full time employees are now 21,600 (9,000 more than 2006) and temporary employees are 2,100 (300 less than 2006). Apple Store employees are 7,900.
Thanks to new future “campus 2” in Cupertino, California, Apple owns a total 223,000 squared meters spaces for its offices/laboratories (93,000 squared meters for new campus) in this town. (setteB.IT is an Italian language web site for Mac users and one of Macsimum News’ partners.)
