Crucial DDR3-1066 (PC3-8500) SODIMM memory modules are now available for the “unibody” MacBook and MacBook Pros. Users wanting to harness the power of more memory can find guaranteed-compatible Crucial DDR3 SODIMMs in 1GB and 2GB densities here. Pricing starts at US$141.99 for a 4B kit of DDR3-1066 memory.
MacBook and MacBook Pro users can get more power and performance out of their new system by upgrading with Crucial DDR3 SODIMMs, according to the folks at Crucial. Among other benefits, DDR3 memory consumes less power than its predecessors, and provides potential for increased memory performance.
Not sure how to find a compatible upgrade? You can use the Crucial.com Mac System Scanner. This downloadable tool searches Mac systems to accurately determine how much memory is currently installed, and then provides compatible Crucial memory upgrade recommendations.
