Check Point Endpoint Security adds full disk encryption for the Mac

imageCheck Point Software Technologies has released Check Point Full Disk Encryption for Mac OS X. The company’s Bob Enger says it’s the industry’s first full-disk encryption solution with pre-boot authentication to support the Mac OS.

Check Point Full Disk Encryption now supports all major laptop and desktop operating systems, including Mac OS X 10.4.5 “Tiger” through 10.5.x. The software scales to any size organization.

Pre-boot authentication requires username and password before the operating system loads. Check Point Full Disk Encryption offers multi-certified cryptography engine addresses adherence to state and federal privacy laws. Contact Check Point Software Technologies for pricing options.
