CES: Hollywood insiders praise iTunes, Apple

At a Consumer Electronics Show session on Monday afternoon, Variety magazine hosted a panel discussion and Q&A session with representatives from some of today’s biggest content providers. Their discussion was the future of content delivery, and the big question was this: How will you make money from it?
The panelists in the discussion held slightly differing opinions on how to monetize their content, yet they all agreed upon one point: Apple and iTunes are a positive force in the digital marketplace. You can read about their comments here.

It’s positive, and yet they limit what they’ll give iTunes? I especially like the comment that they gouge customers for older movies.
