CES: Audiovox release new wireless speaker solutions

Audiovox is releasing new wireless speaker solutions at this week’s Consumer Electronics Show. The Acoustic Research wireless systems employ digital spread spectrum 2.4 GHz circuitry with a Quality of Service (QOS) channel.
According to Audiovox President Tom Malone, the channel operates in virtually all the classic hostile interference environments such as cordless phones, 802.11 computer networks and the microwave oven. The Acoustic Research Wireless Home Theater Solutions consist of four models: WHT6024 5.1 Wireless Speaker System (US$899.95), WPA24 Digital Wireless Transmitter/Receiver System ($349.95), WPS505 Wireless Home Decor Powered 10-Inch Subwoofer ($499.95) and WSM24 Wireless Subwoofer Module ($199.95).
