BSEF vs. Greenpeace: round two

imageknocked Greenpeace, condemning the environmental lobby group for making unfair criticism of Apple’s iPhone’s green credentials. The firm also claimed Greenpeace sensationalized its findings.

Now Greenpeace has fired back. In an online message, the environment group says its testing methodology is fine, thank you, and says its analysis of other hazardous chemicals in the iPhone, such as phthalates, were conducted using recognized techniques.

They (Greenpeace) also said that they knew that they were targeting Apple specifically to get headlines and didn’t care if their imformation was not entirely correct. They got the headlines they were after.
