Apple has less than 24 hours to add Windows 7 support to Boot Camp, which lets Mactels dual boot into either Windows XP or Mac OS X to meet a deadline the company set for itself.
As noted by Computerworld, earlier this year Apple said it would “support Microsoft Windows 7 (Home Premium, Professional, and Ultimate) with Boot Camp in Mac OS X Snow Leopard before the end of the year.” Apple said the support would require a software update for Boot Camp.
However, the clock is ticking and it seems as if Windows 7 on Boot Camp won’t be possible until 2010.
