Fastforward Software has updated Bin-it, a Mac OS X desktop utility that brings the Mac OS Trash back to the desktop, to version 1.5, which support for Mac OS X 10.5 (“Leopard”).

The upgrade also adds a new preferences window interface and more options for the text label. You can also now delete locked items and have a choice of font, size and color of the text label below the floating trash.

Bin-it costs US$12.50, though version 1.5 is a free update for registered users. Bin-it works with Mac OS X 10.3 or higher. It’s Universal Binary so runs natively on both PowerPC and Intel Macs.
