imageIDG World Expo, which produces trade shows and events, has announced that Best Buy has been selected as the official merchandising store for Macworld Conference & Expo, scheduled to take place Jan. 14-18, at San Francisco’s Moscone Center.

Attendees will have the opportunity to purchase many of the products they see onsite, including Macs, Mac accessories, software products and accessories being demonstrated by exhibitors on the showfloor itself. Purchases can be made at the Best Buy store in the South Hall, and through two kiosks in the West Hall that connect to Best Buy’s largest store: BestBuy.com.

“When we were approached to be the official merchandiser for this event, we were thrilled to have the opportunity to service attendees at the largest gathering of Mac enthusiasts in the world,” says Wendy Fritz, vice president of computing for Best Buy. “We look forward to our first Macworld store and providing attendees with the unprecedented knowledge and expertise of our staff when making their purchasing decisions.”

Best Buy will construct a store in Moscone’s South Hall that features a look and feel similar to their actual Best Buy retail outlets. The store will host Best Buy’s Blue Shirt staff and Geek Squad agents who can answer customer questions and schedule home set-ups and installations. Attendees can also purchase products through two Best Buy kiosks located in Moscone’s West Hall that connect to Best Buy.com, presenting consumers with the option to carry products out, or have them shipped home.

The “Macsimum MWSF 2007 Coupon Book” is available for download. You can find it here and print it as a PDF. It has discounts, special offers and promotions in conjunction with the upcoming Macworld Conference & Expo in San Francisco.
