In Australia Apple is looking for an iPhone Field Validation Engineer there and it wants someone with “technical understanding and experience with GSM/GPRS, Edge, CDMA and UMTS,” according to Reg Hardware.

This info is job ad posted on the company’s website, “though it’s unclear how long the job description has been up,” the article adds. The position is based in Sydney, and the successful candidate will work with carriers to gain their approval for the iPhone to be used on their networks.
