Apple withdraws UK ‘Get a Mac’ ads?

Apple appears to have quietly withdrawn its UK-specific series of “Get A Mac” ads, according to Macworld UK.

Based on the US “Get A Mac” ad spots, the UK series featured David Mitchell and Robert Webb of Channel 4’s Peep Show, but ran into a hail of criticism when the ads were introduced, the article says. Chief among the criticisms was that the PC character seemed much more lovable than that of the Mac character in the UK ads. You can read the complete article here.
