Apple tops Nielsen’s February rankings of hardware manufacturer sites

Apple took the largest bite of hardware manufacturer traffic in February, with more than 57 million unique visitors, according to Nielsen Online, reports Internet Retailer. It also ranked first for time spent in the category, with the average visitor staying at the site for over an hour.
The top 10 online hardware manufacturer shopping destinations in February according to Nielsen Online were: Apple, HP, Dell, Sun, Gateway, IBM, Xbox, Nintendo, Zune and Sony. Unique visitors count only once each shopper who came to a site, no matter how many times the shopper visited. This is a custom list compiled by Internet Retailer of the top e-commerce sites in this category based on Nielsen Online data.
By length of visit, the top 10 hardware manufacturers shopping sites in February (hours:minutes:seconds), according to Nielsen Online, were: Apple, Zune, IBM, Dell, Netgear, Palm, Xbox, Epson, HP and Sony.
