Apple to open new Los Angeles retail store June 4

Apple will open its Century City Store at 10250 Santa Monica Blvd. in Los Angeles, California, on Saturday, June 4. The grand opening will be held from 10 am to 9 pm.

The first 500 people to visit the store receive a free Apple Ccommemorative T-shirt. Drop by the store and you can also enter the Grand Opening Sweepstakes to win a Digital Lifestyle Collection valued at US$2,350. The winner will receive a 17-inch flat-panel iMac G5 with Combo drive (DVD-ROM/CD-RW), an iPod mini, a Canon PowerShot SD400 digital camera, a Canon ZR100 digital camcorder, and an Epson Stylus R200 printer. No purchase is necessary. Entries will be taken through July 4.

Store hours will be 10 am to 9 pm, Monday-Saturday, and 11 am to 6 pm, Sunday.
