Apple software updates for Aug. 21

Aquafadas has updated BannerZest, a flash presentation tool for professional and amateur web designers, to version 1.2.2. Scale mode has been fixed in the Hanging theme and some bugs have been fixed.
Equinux has released The Tube 2.8, a new version of the TV software for the Mac. The upgrade sees a boost in the digital reception quality; also, a new channel search is required for digital signals.
Human Software has updated HSC Edit for Aperture to version 1.3. HSC Edit is an edit plug-in to Apple Aperture that offers more than 4,000 effects to apply on one or a set of images. Version 1.3 is made of 13 modules that can be purchased separately or as a whole.
RealMac Software has updated RapidWeaver, its web site creation application for Mac OS X, to version 4.1. This update includes both bug-fixes and some small new features. RapidWeaver users can now enable Quick Look Previews for their saved projects, and also choose to have images automatically resized to a certain size when dragged into styled text areas. The update also bring much improved, and significantly simplified, support for publishing to Apple’s MobileMe service.
Apple has updated its download site with the latest version of the Nvidia CUDA development kit. CUDA (Compute Unified Device Architecture). CUDA is a developer’s kit that allows users to create derivative works for academic, commercial, or personal purposes.
Koingo Software has updated MacPilot— a utility that lets you enable and disable hidden features in Mac OS X, optimize and repair your system, and perform numerous routine maintenance operations—to version 3.1.1. The upgrade adds a ton of NetNewsWire commands, the ability to disable device backup iTunes and disable data detectors in Mail.
Houdah Software has updated HoudahGeo, geocoding solution for the Mac, to version 1.4.13. The upgrade improves the versatility of image metadata loading. It will now correctly read timestamps from DNGs created using Lightroom or Adobe’s DNG Bridge.
Falkon Ware has updated its SerialMailer bulk email app to version 5.7.1. The upgrade fixes a flaw in which the send-tab could not be accessed if no accounts were configured.
Limit Point Software has updated PhotoTiles, a Mac OS X application you use to create a tiled image of images, to version 1.0.2. You can now specify the background color of the tiled image by setting this option in the Preferences window.
Synium Software has updated CleanApp, an application uninstaller that removes all of a program’s associated files, not just the application itself, to version 3.0.0b9. It’s a maintenance release that fixes some bugs.
