Apple shares up to $172.75

Apple shares rose nearly two percent to $172.75 after the company cut the price of its DRM-free songs on iTunes to 99 cents from $1.29, reports MarketWatch. The move puts the DRM-free songs at the same price point as the standard songs in the iTunes catalog.
