Apple releases software update for iPods

Apple has released a software update (1.2.3) for the 3G iPod nano, iPod classic and 5G (video enabled) iPod. It fixes a glitch wit the 5G iPod where songs and other content don’t after updating to software version 1.2.2.
On the nano and classic it resolves issues with games affecting song play counts, the iPod nano’s clock, problems with Cover Flow and a spinning hard drive issue (on the Classic). The 58.2MB software update is available via iTunes.
