Apple offers iTunes Rewind, a look at the best of 2009

Apple has posted iTunes Rewind 2009, a section on the iTunes Store, that looks at “the best of the year in music, TV, movies and apps.” Following are some of the highlights.
Michael Jackson was the Artist of the Year. The best-selling song was “Boom Boom Pow” by the Black-Eyed Peas. Only the Night by the Kings of Leon was dubbed Album of the Year.

According to Apple’s list, the best (or at least best-selling movies were Up, Star Trek, Twilight, Quantum of Solace and Drag Me to Hell.
Best game awards went to Spider: The Secret of Bryce Manor, Real Racing, and Zenonia, among others. Top selling games included The Sims 3, The Oregon Trail, and the apparently Teflon Tiger Woods PGA Tour.
CBS Sports: Live College Games, Convertbot, and Leaf Trombone: World Stage were named the best apps. The top-selling apps were MLB.com At Bat, QuickOffice Mobile Office Suite, and SlingPlayer Mobile.
