Apple number 10 online brand in May

imageApple is the number 10 online brand, a new report from Nielsen Online says. It had a “unique audience” of 50,531,000 with visitors spending an average of 1:06:02 at the site.

Ahead of Apple were Google, Yahoo!, Microsoft, MSN/Windows Live, AOL Media Network, Fox Interactive Media, YouTube, Wikipedia and eBay. Google had a unique audience of 121,991,000; visitors spent an average of 1:15:27 at the Google brand sites.

Per the Nielsen Online report, of the 166.5 million users who were actively online during the month of May, 47.9 percent or 79.7 million were male. The average male spent a total of nearly 68 hours and 50 minutes online, logged 61 sessions and viewed 2,442 web pages during the month.
