Apple files U.S. trademark for Mac Pro

On May 24, the US Patent & Trademark Office revealed Apple’s new trademark/service mark application for “MAC PRO,” under serial number 78885695. The U.S. filing date is noted as May 17, 2006. The application notes the “Priority based on foreign filing: Applicant has a bona fide intention to use the mark in commerce on or in connection with the identified goods and/or services and asserts a claim of priority based on New Zealand (NZX) application number, 738999, filed 11/18/2005.15 U.S.C. Section 1126(d), as amended.”
The trademark relates to International Class 009: computers; computer hardware; computer software; computer peripherals; notebook computers; laptop computers; tablet computers; computer servers; handheld computers; mobile computers; hard drives; audio speakers; speakers for computers; personal digital assistants; electronic organizers; electronic notepads; magnetic data carriers; computer gaming machines; microprocessors; memories boards; monitors; displays; keyboards; computer input devices; computer cables; modems; printers; parts and accessories for all the aforesaid goods
