Apple announces latest financial results today

Apple will announce its latest financial results today at 2 pm (Pacific). Naturally, Macsimum News will be bringing complete coverage, but there’s also live video streaming of the Fourth Quarter Results Conference Call.
Apple will provide live audio streaming using QuickTime. The live audio webcast will be accessible through Apple’s web site. Viewers need a copy of QuickTime 6 or QuickTime 7 to listen to the conference call.
Analysts surveyed by Thomson Financial estimate Apple will earn 85 cents a share on US$6.05 billion in revenue for the quarter, compared to a profit of 62 cents a share on $4.84 billion in revenue in the year ago quarter. Caris & Co. analyst Shebly Seyrafi recently raised his price target on Apple’s stock to $175 a share from $165 on the ground that Mac sales have been performing better than had been expected, notes MarketWatch.
